Cosmetically speaking...

What are your tried and true favorite beauty staples?  I used to read In Style magazine's recommendations each year, faithfully, but have found that it is the recommendations from friends and family that matter to me.

I'll share some of mine if you share some of yours...OK?

Fiberwig My first recommendation is Fiberwig mascara.  It came highly recommended by a blog reader some time ago and I have used it consistently for the last 6 months or more.  It gets rid of lashes that are hanging by a bare thread and thickens them so they look long and lush.  It originates from Japan but it now can be found at Sephora online.

Bekit For foundation, powder and blush, my everyday favorite is Bare Escentuals, hands-down.  I like the coverage and that it doesn't feel heavy on my face.  Plus my skin is oily, so I like the idea of using a powder vs. liquid foundation.

Stilaeye Stila is #1 to me in eye shadow (My favorite base eye color is chinois).  Because of my oily skin my eye make-up has a tendency to crease very quickly.  It's not to say that Stila's eye make-up doesn't crease but I do get more mileage out of it than any other eye shadow I've used.

Jmlip Lately I have been using Jo Malone's Vitamin E lip conditioner as it softens my chapped lips pretty quickly.  To me, it's worth every penny.

Bootsgel As for moisturizer, Boots has been my staple for the last 6 months and I really do like it.  I use the gel in the morning underneath my make-up and their serum at night.

Niveaeye An eye make-up remover that is gentle is very important to me, which is why I love Nivea's eye make-up remover.  It's creamy and gently removes my eye make-up with a cotton ball.

Cetaphil I also use Cetaphil to cleanse my face at night.  It's very gentle and has been highly recommended by many over the years.

I am always up for trying new things.  So, now it's your turn.  What would you call your all-time favorite beauty product(s)?
