Still no new light fixture in the closet...
...but I have other pleasant things to occupy my eyes until the light situation is resolved.
It's still a work-in-progress and we're headed in the right direction. The light switch is in place. (You can find decorative switch plates, including mirrored ones here.)

And I have socks organized for almost every occasion with thanks to my best friend's mom.
