Decorating is an endless task in our home. My mind is filled to the brim with ideas and inspiration. Executing them is the issue. Funds are needed as well as a sense of adventure. And when I have the funds to apply toward a particular project, I'm overwhelmed with decisions.
What if it doesn't look like I imagined. I'm a visual person and need magazines and home decor websites to provide the inspiration. Basically, it is hard for me to take risks. Particularly costly ones. Every-so-often I am willing to take that risk.
Today, I'm still looking at a half-empty foyer, a master bedroom that is not pleasing to the eye and all sorts of odds and ends that need a little TLC.
Lately, I have spent a good bit of time at HGTV's Rate My Space (RMS). And I fancy this RMS'ers design style. It's when you see something that inspires you, it leaves you chomping at the bit to decorate. It's a great feeling.
