First, I want to say that this newly remodeled bathroom speaks to me, loud and clear.
It is currently featured on Washington Space's website as a winner of their bathroom remodel contest. The designer, Susan Beimler Interior Design, has done a remarkable job with this project.
The classic style is simple, elegant and quite refreshing to the eye.
Then I clicked onto this photo and my heart sang.
This lovely chest is just the type I have been looking for.
I have been shopping around for a piece to go in our foyer. I'm certain this chest in the above photo is an antique. Since it has renewed my interest in chest-seeking, I shopped around online and found a couple of nice pieces at Overstock's website.
I'm impressed as they carry Drexel Heritage casegoods and offer nice, classic-looking chests as shown in the photos below.
The Stamford Secretarie is clearly classic in style with it's inlaid marquetry.
The Stratford Hall chest also has nice detail to it. Again, very classic and clean-cut.
The Barrett Chest has a bit of asian flair to it but still very traditional.
And the Langley Demilune has a nice roundness to it.
This was an exciting discovery for me, both inspirationally and resourcefully. I hope you find it to be the same too.
And be on the lookout for other big names in the furniture retail business on Overstock's site too.
